STAR WARS REBELS – ‘THE HOLOCRONS OF FATE’

I Think we all had an OH SHIT MOMENT THIS WEEK! With Darth Maul and Ezra working together to unlock the secrets of the force.

Let’s start from the beginning–

Darth Maul has taken the crew of The Ghost hostage

• He lures the Ezra–Maul wants the Sith Holocron and the Jedi Holocron.
• Shedding some light on Maul’s purpose.

The Bendu helps Kanan and Ezra to balance themselves and fix the current state of their relationship.

• The Bendu is like something from a Tolkien novel or other piece of fantasy literature.
• This ancient primordial being.
• The Bendu reveal what the holocrons are able to do.
  • According to the Bendu, if two such powers sources of knowledge were combined they would grant a Jedi or Sith through The Force a vision of any secret, wisdom or destiny they sought. Such hidden truths could bring chaos in the hands of evil.

My fear is that they will take the “fangs” out of Maul much like vader–

• So far that is not the case; his willingness to kill Kanan and the ghost crew was a smart decision.

Mual’s purpose is revealed–kinda

• Maul and Ezra unlock the holocrons and with a burst of blinding light, a vision of the future and or certain questions were revealed.
  • “The Holocrons of Fate,” Ezra Bridger and Darth Maul share a moment that potentially speaks volumes for the Star Wars saga.
  • Ezra looks into the Holocron and sees what he describes as “twin suns.”
  • Maul says “I see him” and runs off ranting.
  • What are they referring to?
    • Tatooine, where the person who actually is the key to defeating the Sith, Luke Skywalker, currently resides. Is this the image that Ezra sees?
