DRUM ROLL please! It has been announced via the official Star Trek site that Jason Isaacs has been cast as the captain of the U.S.S. Discovery.
According to StarTrek.com Isaacs will play Captain Lorca of the U.S.S. Discovery. Isaacs has long crew with countless acting credits that include several Harry Potter films, The Patriot, Netflix’s OA, Star Wars Rebels.
Additionally, Mary Wiseman will also join the cast as Tilly, a Starfleet Academy cadet, assigned to the U.S.S. Discovery.
