A Danish Retailer Posts a Release Date for Red Dead Redemption 2
If you’re like all of us from Weird West Radio, chances are you’ve been waiting to anxiously to hear when can get your hands on Rockstar’s western open-world epic. Well, according to a leak from a Danish retailer, you’ve got another 6 months to wait. A listing on Coolshop, Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently scheduled to release on June 8. It’s also worth noting that this particular retailer has accurately leaked release dates for other Rockstar games in the past.

Despite the retailers reliability, Rockstar is known for its delays and Red Dead Redemption 2 has already been delayed once. Whatever the release dates ends up being, I for one am willing wait. We don’t know much about RDR 2 but the game details we do have are nothing short of epic and being an avid western film buff, this is the game that many of us western enthusiasts have been waiting countless years for.
What we know so far about the game:
- It’s a prequel to the critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption and stars a square-jawed outlaw protagonist named Arthur Morgan.
- It’s an open world Western that takes place in a land that’s a little bit wilder than that of the older game.
- The game will have an online component akin to GTA Online.
